Surveys with hidden fields
eSurveysPro.com online survey software offers now the possibility to Corporate and Enterprise accounts to create surveys with hidden fields.
The user has to add to the survey a question of type Hidden Field and specify the hidden field variable name that will appear in survey url.
For example, if the variable name is department, you will need to set values to this field in url like this:
http://www.esurveyspro.com/Survey.aspx?id=34d8d5c8-9cc6-41f2-b90b-f537d33f6663&department=Marketing
or
http://www.esurveyspro.com/Survey.aspx?id=34d8d5c8-9cc6-41f2-b90b-f537d33f6663&department=Sales

This is great. Can the URL parameter be written to any hidden question type? E.g. both single and open ended questions?

To be honest there are better choices. I tried askitonline, monkeysurvey and then http://www.cafesurvey.com which I thought was the best. I am not sure that polldaddy’s business model of asking money for advanced surveys is going to work so well in the long run.
